PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE / SERVICE & REPAIR

Preventive maintenance (PM) is "a routine for periodically inspecting" with the goal of "noticing small problems and fixing them before major ones develop." Ideally, "nothing breaks down."

Servicing & Repairs (S&R) works are to restore to good working order & fix up properly or improve damaged condition. Which sometimes include the Replacement of certain Parts within.
